City Tour

APCOT 2026 provides two city tours for your choice on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. We will bring you to deeply meet traditional and modern sides of Taichung.  For the Traditional Taichung, the tour will go to the sole surviving Qing-era first-class official residence in Taiwan. For the Modern Taichung, we will bring you to National Taichung Theater and The Luce Memorial Chapel. Please see here for more information.

Reception

APCOT 2026 Reception will be held from 18:00 to 20:00 on June 21 at the National Museum of Natural Science, which is about 5 min walk from the conference venue, the Splendor Hotel, Taichung. Light meal and non-alcoholic drink will be served. The location is shown here.

Welcome Reception Party

The APCOT 2026 Welcome Reception Party will be held at the National Museum of Natural Science (NMNS) in Taichung from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on June 21, 2026. All registered attendees are cordially invited to join this special evening for delicious food, networking opportunities, cultural exchange, and exploration of the museum's unique collections.

During the reception, two featured exhibitions, Harmony with Geothermal and Earth's Treasures, will be exclusively open to registered attendees. Participants are welcome to visit the exhibitions at their own pace throughout the evening. Please note that food and beverages, including water, are not permitted inside the exhibition galleries and should be left outside the exhibition rooms.

To enrich your experience, professional guided tours in English will be provided by NMNS faculty members. Attendees interested in learning more about the exhibitions are encouraged to join the guided introductions at the following times:

• 7:00 PM – Harmony with Geothermal
• 7:30 PM – Earth's Treasures
