By engineering this communication—both through micro/nano-scale devices and through designed cellular systems—we can extend innate functions such as sensing, regulation, and adaptation. This approach opens pathways toward co‑living transducers that cooperate with the body, as well as living transducers that works in designed
cellular communication, together forming the foundation of In-body and Intracellular Cybernetic Avatars in human science. This Organized Session focuses these emerging architectures on advanced
micro/nano devices, and rapidly evolving synthetic and cellular engineering. From signal conversion at the subcellular level to cooperative bio‑device interactions in vivo, the session highlights technologies that enhance or redesign biological function. We aim to chart new frameworks for human‑integrated cybernetic systems and to envision future applications in health, augmentation, and next‑generation biomedical science.
